Dr. Misop Han is David Hall McConnell Professor of Urology and Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Han is a urologist whose main clinical focus is in urological oncology with a special emphasis on prostate and kidney cancers. He specializes in robotic nerve-sparing prostatectomy and robotic nephrectomy. Dr. Han received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. After completing a surgical internship and a residency in urology, he joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2006. His research interests include the outcome of radical prostatectomy, medical robotics, physician performance, and prediction. He has published extensively in these subjects and has received international and national recognition for his research. He is a member of the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association.
