Anna Reed is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders. Her areas of clinical expertise include pediatric intestinal rehabilitation and the nutrition of children with liver disease or chronic diseases that affect the gastrointestinal tract, such as cystic fibrosis. Dr. Reed completed medical school at University of Virginia School of Medicine and received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Maryland College Park. She completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Reed practiced pediatrics in a variety of settings for 15 years before going on to a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
