David Stockwell, MD

At Johns Hopkins Children's Center, David Stockwell, MD is the Chief Medical Officer of the Children's Center as well as an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, practicing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Stockwell's clinical interests include all types of respiratory failure, pediatric shock, and other pediatric critical care presentations. He is also an accomplished patient safety researcher, focusing on accurate and consistent patient safety even identification with numerous peer-reviewed publications in this and other aspects of patient safety and quality. He also serves as an Associate Editor of Pediatric Quality & Safety medical journal.
