Dr. Harold “Harry” Burke, M.D. is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician serving as an Assistant Professor with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He was Chief Resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center during his Anesthesiology Residency, and then trained under Dr. Salim Hayek, M.D., Ph.D at Case Western/University Hospitals for his Pain Medicine Fellowship. His clinical focus is on implantable pain devices for Neuromodulation, specifically intrathecal pumps as well as both spinal and peripheral nerve stimulators. He has authored peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, with a highlight on practice management, healthcare innovation, and medical education. He holds a medical device patent, and is the founder and CMO of Highlander Solutions, a medical innovation consulting company.
