Dr. Florindez is an oncologist at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, specializing in the treatment of hematological malignancies with a primary focus on lymphoid malignancies. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru before completing his internal medicine residency at the Yale University/Bridgeport Hospital program and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Florindez conducts clinical and translational research in lymphoid malignancies. He is particularly interested in leveraging computational genomics to better understand disease drivers and develop personalized therapeutic strategies, aiming to bridge the gap between complex data and improved patient outcomes.
