Dr. Matthew Merguerian is a pediatric hematologist specializing in bleeding and clotting disorders. His research  is focused on bleeding disorders resulting from platelet dysfunction. His lab is interested in understanding the mechanisms behind platelet dysfunction and in developing platelet-targeted therapies that could alleviate abnormal bleeding or clotting.
