Dr. Joanna Cohen is a pediatric emergency medicine physician. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acutely ill and injured children.Dr.

Cohen graduated from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was fellowship trained in pediatric emergency medicine and in point of care ultrasound at Children’s National Hospital and George Washington University Hospital. She served as a pediatric emergency medicine physician and director of point of care ultrasound at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.

prior to joining the faculty at Johns Hopkins.
