Dr. Tamara Oei is a diagnostic radiologist with an expertise in body imaging and more than 10 years of private practice experience.Dr. Oei joins Johns Hopkins from Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group where she served as subspecialty chief of Abdominal Imaging and subsection chief of CT. Her latest contribution was establishing and chairing a radiology Peer Learning Program, a contemporary approach to error analysis in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, leading to continued improvements on an individual and system level.Dr. Oei earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, going on to an internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Oei completed her fellowship training in abdominal imaging and intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital.
