Emmett Whitaker is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. He specializes in anesthesia for neonates, infants, children and teens who require anesthesia for surgical or diagnostic procedures. His has special expertise in infant spinal anesthesia. Dr. Whitaker graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry before completing an internship in internal medicine at the University of Maryland. He then finished his residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
