Scott Krummey, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins Immunogenetics Laboratory. Dr. Krummey’s research interests are in understanding cellular mechanisms of alloimmunity, with a focus on how cosignaling receptors and antigen recognition pathways can be exploited to restrain the lymphocytes that cause graft rejection. His laboratory studies mouse and human graft-specific CD8+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, and B cells using techniques including MHC tetramers, transgenic mouse models, RNA/TCR-sequencing, and high-dimensional flow cytometry.
