Cathy Handy Marshall, MD

Description

Dr. Catherine Marshall is an Associate Professor in the Department of Oncology and Co-Director of the Division of Genitourinary Cancers at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical and research interests are in the care of men with advanced prostate cancer.   She received her M.D. and M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins, where she also completed her residency and an oncology fellowship. She previously served as an Assistant Chief of Service for the Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program.   Her research is in the development of new therapies for men with advanced prostate cancer, non hormonal medications, the impact of the microbiome in prostate cancer, and clonal hematopoiesis in solid tumors like prostate cancer.
