Gastroenterology Baltimore
Gastroenterologist Elham Afghani specializes in pancreatology. She is a clinician, educator and researcher. She received her medical degree from University of California, Irvine, where she remained for her internal medicine residency as well as an extra year as chief resident. She then completed her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship with additional training in pancreatic diseases at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Afghani’s work is dedicated to improving the early detection, characterization and management of pancreatic disorders through translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration.
