Alyson Russo, MD

Description

Dr. Alyson Russo is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise are regional anesthesiology, acute pain management, and neuroanesthesiology.  She received her M.D. from the Loyola University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins. She currently works as clinical faculty in both the Neuroanesthesiology division and the Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine division.  She is also the co-director of the Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship program.  She has an interest in pain control in the neuro-spine population.  During her residency, she was recognized by the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine with the 2016 Frank L. Coulson Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence.
